Our story began in the Emilia Romana region, North of Tuscany.  Galba Magnanini  and family immigrated over to the US due to hardships. Wanting a better life for his family, Galba built a new life in New Jersey with his wife, Eileen, and their three children.  

As the years went by, Galba missed the traditions and culture he had left behind in Italy. He missed the foods, the music, and long dinners with good friends and family. Wanting to find a balance between his 'new' life and old, Galba and Eileen moved their family to Wallkill, NY where they began Magnanini Winery Farm in 1983. 

Long days were spent planting the vines you see today, and hours spent in the kitchen cooking up hearty meals. From there, the idea behind Sunday Family Style Dinners came to life.  The Magnanini Family wanted to find a way to bring a bit of their life & culture to our Hudson Valley region and the first Dinner took place in 1985. 

The Magnanini Family envisioned dinners where friends and family could gather and celebrate life. Playing songs from their home region and slowly enjoying an afternoon of good food and company, the concept behind Family Style Dinners began.

Our Family Style Dinners are more than just a meal. They're an experience where guests enjoy an afternoon of several courses paired with delicous wines and music reminiscient 

Our story started long before the internet existed and social media was around. Magnanini Winery was initially built around the idea of bringing delicious food and wines to the Hudson Valley. We spent years perfecting our wines and crafting artisin foods. For years, we entertained hundreds of guests with our events and six course meals.

Over time, our family grew and so did our vision. We wanted to open up our vineyard to provide couples with a Hudson Valley wedding venue where they could feel like they're walking along the grounds of Tuscany.  Bring alive the experience of a European destination without having to step foot on a plane! We've  been expanding and building our vineyard to offer couples a chance to escape from 'cookie cutter' weddings. Our unique landscape and offerings provide couples with a unique wedding opportunity and we invite you to come experience it for yourselves!
